19th century sleigh bells. The leather strap hanging measures 21.5 inches long {as shown, would be longer if unbuckled} and 1.75 inches wide. Contains 11 brass bells. One bell is missing and one bell is broken {see 2nd photo}. The bells have worn to a beautiful patina. The buckle on the strap is also brass. All of the antique bells with leather straps show wear and are somewhat stiff due to age and may be fraying. I did add a little all natural leather conditioner to preserve the leather better…I would suggest that you add more if you would like the leather to be more pliable. The bells make a beautiful sound.
